De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
This picturesque inn described by Dickens in Little Dorrit was rebuilt in 1676 after a fire. Until the late 19C it was the last station on a stagecoach route. Of the three galleried buildings only the south wing remains, with its half-timbered galleries leading to travellers' accommodations, and its interior decorated with wood panelling and brass. Today, it is a pub, where Shakespeare plays are sometimes shown in the cobbled courtyard.
