The Small Boulevard (Kiskörút), as it is known locally, marks out a curve, following Deák tér, Károly körút, Museum körut, Kálvin tér and Vámház körút. Between this limit and the Danube the historical centre is buried. To the North, the great straight line avenue Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út, which links Deák tér to Nyugati tér, it may be considered to be the prolongation of the Small Boulevard.
