Situated close to the botanical gardens, on the edge of Łazienki Park, this estate became the official residence of the President of the Republic of Poland from the end of World War I, except during the period of World War II. The presidential palace was moved in 1994, but the Belevedere is still used to host visiting dignitaries. The edifice (and its exhibitions devoted to Joseph Piłsudski and the War Order of Virtuti Militari) is open to the public.
