This old monastery of canons of the Augustinian order is composed of a remarkable collection of Romanesque buildings. It was here that James II of Aragon married Blanche of Anjou in 1295. Every year, in September, Santa Maria hosts the music festival, La Schubertíada, a highly prestigious event in the cultural calendar.
