This museum contains the archives of the Opéra de Vichy, which were put together until the 1960s, then dispersed or even destroyed. Gradually compiled again, they comprise costumes, accessories, posters, scenographic documentation, opera programmes from 1901 to the present day, and a collection of 10 000 photographs. They are showcased via temporary and theme-based exhibitions on the cultural wealth of this venue and the world of the opera.
