This decorative arts museum occupies the 18C palace of the Barbosa Maciel family. Within its interior walls, embellished with superb painted azulejos from 1721, is a remarkable collection of Portuguese glazed earthenware that is said to be the largest in the country. Beautiful Indo-Portuguese carved and inlaid furniture, ceramics and antique earthenware are also displayed here.
