Vatroslava Jagica Park
De Groene Gids
De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
This pleasant park criss-crossed with footpaths is the perfect place for a stroll. Look out for the statue of Vatroslav Jagic, historian of Slav languages, as well as one of the weather columns that Croatians are so fond of. The park is also home to a restaurant with large bay windows overlooking the gardens. Two minutes away is Habdelica Street, fronted by the Zakmardy Palace, a former Jesuit college built in the late 17C by two local architects, Jakob and Blaz Jancic.
