The feudal-style ducal palace is most impressive. The proud fortress was never attacked, hence its current intact aspect. The buildings bear witness to the rise in fortunes of the prestigious dynasty of Uzès lords. Vicomté tower with its octagonal turret is 14C. Bermonde tower, a 12C square keep, commands a lovely view over the town. The Renaissance façade culminates in a Gothic chapel, restored in the 19C, without forgetting the furnished interior.
