The former prison houses a theme exhibition every year, including several works by the painter Egon Schiele (1890-1918). However, its main claim to fame is six former monks' cells on the 1st floor, each of which depicts a stage in the artist's life (cities where he lived), with rare interviews by friends and family (audio guide), including his sisters and sister-in-law, Adele.
