Romanesque-Gothic in style, this church boasts an attractive wooden ceiling, frescoes by Tommaso da Modena and tombs which include those of Petrarch's daughter and Dante's son. As you head back to the town centre, stop in Piazza San Vito to admire Santa Lucia church which is also decorated with some remarkable frescoes by the same artist.
