The museum displays a broad panorama of Prehistoric Man's expressive media (painting, sculpture, graffiti), and their place in the history of Mankind and evolution. Reconstructions of dwellings (some of which are spectacular) and scenes of everyday Upper Paleolithic life make this a compelling experience. Located in a protected site, the park gives an impression of the wildlife that Cro-Magnon Man would have known and represented in cave drawings.
