Only the foundations, a vaulted gallery and a cryptoportico remain but the visit is impressive for the beauty of the setting and the broad panoramic view over the town, the canals and the port, Monte Circeo and the Pontine marshes, the plain of Fondi and its lakes and the coast as far as Gaeta.
