This square is one of the quietest and most pleasant in the upper town. The Roman remains are hidden under medieval buildings, but some porches and huge Gothic windows are still visible, as are vestiges of the Roman gate to the provincial forum. The Antiga Audiència building (former praetorium) is home to a huge scale model of Roman Tarragona.
