Taipei 101, one of the tallest buildings in the world (over 500m/1,235ft) is reminiscent of a bamboo stalk. Constructed according to Feng Shui principles, anti-seismic and anti-typhoon, it features two observatories, one of which is outside - not for the faint-hearted and only if the conditions permit.
