De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
A symbol of ducal and then royal power, this castle is attached to the Quic-en-Groigne tower. Note the façades of the 17C and 18C barracks, which now house the town hall; the well; the great keep; and the gatehouse. Built in 1395, the small keep flanks the old defensive wall. The great keep, dating from 1424 and dominating the château, boasts fine views of the town, the port and the coast from its watchtowers. The castle is also home to the city'sHistory and Ethnography Museum.
