The dent du Nivolet, whose summit is the site of a monumental 21m/69ft-high cross, overlooks Chambéry. It is reached along a path from La Féclaz ski resort to the Bauges mountain range. From there a wide path continues along the Nivolet ridge to the top. Superb view over Bourget Lake and a series of mountain ranges with Mont Blanc visible in the background.
