The secluded and beautiful Désert des Agriates is best approached by the coastal path, via which you'll catch glimpses of the rugged coastline and the superb beaches of Loto and Saleccia. The full route (approximately 45km) is completed in two or even three stages. For that reason, it is best to organise a car for the end of the path (Ostriconi) or to make sure you know the bus timetables. If you only have one day available, you can still walk to the beach at Loto (approx. 4hr) and return to Saint-Florent by boat.
