The park comprises 38 sites in four states, including the 1877 battlefields and locations important to tribal legend. The tribe's story is documented at the main visitor center and museum (US-95, Spalding, Idaho), along with the Spalding-Allen Collection, a fabulous samplng of artifacts and hide clothing adorned with dentalia shells, porcupline quills and elk teeth dating from 1836.
