De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
Developed in 1981, the Very Large Array, a powerful astronomical radio telescope, is used by researchers to study the nature and processes of the universe. Composed of 82ft-diameter dish-shaped metal mirrors, they form a Y, each branch of which has 13mi-long arms, spread over the Plains of San Agustin. Guests can watch a slide show and displays on radio astronomy, then take a self-guided tour.
