Skibby Kirke is located in a village with charming thatched houses, but the church itself looks so ordinary from the outside that you can't help but be surprised upon entering. Essentially in the Romanesque style, its apse and fine frescoes dating from the 12C are still intact, one depicting a Christ in Majesty.
