This is the largest open-air museum in Romania. Standing in shaded parkland are nearly 350 traditional buildings, perfectly reconstructed in situ, illustrating the country's heritage. Stroll among watermills, windmills, workshops, forges and artisans' houses; don't miss the wooden church, the inside walls of which are covered with frescoes depicting Biblical scenes.
