This delightful forest of beech trees, several thousand years old, grows on a portion of lava flow of El Croscat volcano, whose undulating depressions, sometimes as much as 15m deep, contribute to paint a unique and bewitching picture. In spring, the woodlands are dotted with buttercups and anemones.
