This small museum contains two large rooms, the first of which is devoted to contemporary art exhibitions and the second to the city's history from the mid-16C to the present day. Objects, costumes and furniture provide insights into the successive waves of immigration: Spanish, American (former English settlers become Americans), Chinese, Japanese and then European minorities. In the courtyard behind the museum are two adobe buildings dating from the 19C.
