These two museums share the same building and the visitor can hop from one to the other. The collections which range from prehistory to the 18C (scale model of St Gallen in the 17C, painted glass, popular arts) are creatively displayed in the History Museum. The Ethnography Museum for its part showcases outstanding pieces from Africa, Amazonia and Asia.
