To the north-west of Verona, the hillsides planted with Valpolicella vines comprise a gentle landscape of rolling hills, dotted here and there with Romanesque churches, medieval villages and magnificent villas where the famous Amarone wine is produced. A Wine Route takes you through a countryside dotted with cypress, olive and cherry trees, stopping at around a dozen different wine producers which are renowned for their excellent wine.
