An extraordinary nature reserve covering an area of more than 600ha/1 482acres, Presidio Park acts as the green lungs of this huge city and is part of the Golden Gate National Park. Nature-lovers will be in their element here, exploring the park's 12 hiking trails with their occasional views of the Golden Gate Bridge. One of the best views of this famous reddish-orange bridge is from Battery East Vista within the park itself.
