In Upper Engadin, Muottas Muragl is the classic vantage point from which to admire the string of lakes from St Moritz to Maloja, framed by the secondary mountain ranges of Piz Rosatsch and Piz Julier. To the left of this are the Roseg cirque glacier and the dazzling peaks of Bernina Range: Piz Morteratsch, Piz Bernina, Piz Palü. We recommend taking the funicular up to Muottas Muragl, from which point hikers can set off on some lovely walks.
