Mozart's birthplace is in a house in the Old Town's main street, and Mozart mementoes are now exhibited there. The composer was born on 27 January 1756, on the third floor, where his family lived at the time. It was here that he composed most of his works as a young man. You can see his violins, his spinet, some scores, a selection of portraits and letters. The second floor shows models of his stage sets and documents relating his operas, and on the first floor is the Daily Life of a Child Prodigy exhibition.
