Kien An Cung Confucian Pagoda
De Groene Gids
De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
With its gabled walls, tiled roof with raised ends, and numerous embellishments, it is impossible to miss the Kien An Cung (Chua Ong Quach) Confucian pagoda, the former house of the mandarin Quach. Finely carved gilded woodwork and delicate frescoes flank the altar, which faces an open-air courtyard (the "celestial well") where incense is burned to facilitate contact with the gods.
