Place de la République, the heart of the village, is graced with the old corn exchange (late 15C-early 16C), the Witches' Tower, the Gothic Maison de l'OEuvre Notre-Dame, which housed the stonemasons' workshops, and the former town hall (now the tourist office), which sports a fine, twin-gabled Renaissance façade. The courtyard leads to the rampart walk.
