Richmond National Battlefield Park has 13 sites commemorating the battles for Richmond that took place from 1862 to 1864. Visitors complete their tour by car, covering almost 130km. Start with the visitor centre in the Tredegar Iron Works, which produced the majority of the Confederacy's weaponry.
