The pretty white silhouette of this limewashed adobe church stands at the end of a wooded enclosure. The original building, dating back to 1648, was replaced in 1778 by the current church with its attractive colonial architecture. Inside, don't miss the cactus-wood structure, the dressed statue of Rosa de Lima, and the naïve paintings in the style of Peru's Cuzco School. Admire also the cemetery on the hillside, with its modest tombs decorated with paper flowers.
