This formidable 13C construction with a military appearance once belonged to the canons of Saint-Quiriace, who rented it out to merchants during the fairs held in the Champagne region. It then served as a warehouse for tithes paid by peasants. Nowadays converted into a museum, the audio-guided "Provins au temps des foires de Champagne" tour recreates the atmosphere of the fairs held in the region.
