De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
Thirty statues or groups of statues placed at regular intervals decorate the struts of the Charles Bridge. Erected between the 16C and 20C, they form a veritable open-air gallery and are the work of Prague's greatest artists, including the Brokoffs (father and sons). Of particular note are St Frances Xavier (fifth from the left from the Old Town Bridge Tower); the St Luitgarde group, the most Baroque (12th left); St John of Nepomuk (in the middle of the bridge on the downstream side), the oldest (1683).
