The gardens, orchards and woods on Petřín Hill give this district the impression of an area far removed from any modern influence. Comprising the Kinský, Strahov and Seminary gardens, Petřín is one of the largest parks in Prague, a fine area of greenery climbing steeply to the plateau which rises gently towards the White Mountain. Don't forget to climb up to the top of Petřín Tower, nicknamed ''the Eiffel Tower'', which was built for the Universal Exhibition in 1891.
