A visit to the headland of Penmarch, at the south-westernmost tip of Finistère is an opportunity to discover the Bigouden region and its thriving traditions. Blessed by a mild, yet windy climate, it boasts lovely beaches, particularly those of Plovan and Pors-Carn. Pop into its chapels, among which Notre-Dame-de-Tronoën, famous for its Calvary, without forgetting its fishing villages, such as Saint-Guénolé or its Prehistoric Finistère Museum. Finally, the view over Audierne bay from Eckmühl lighthouse is awesome!
