Musée Nissim de Camondo
De Groene Gids
De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
This mansion, built from 1911-14 to house the collection of 18C art belonging to Count Moïse de Camondo, has an atmosphere that evokes both the Classical era and the Belle Époque. Exhibits include work by some of the best cabinet-makers on the Faubourg St-Antoine (Riesener, Leleu, Weisweiler), carpets from the Savonnerie factory, Beauvais tapestries, gold and silver ornaments, paintings by Guardi and Hubert Robert, a roll-top desk, and a Sèvres porcelain dinner set known as the "Buffon" service.
