The Maison de la Mutualité, at n° 24, was built in 1931 for the Paris Mutual Insurance Federation on the site of the small Saint-Nicolas-du-Chardonnet seminary. Its main hall is used as a venue for political meetings, concerts etc. The singer and musician Léo Ferré was a regular performer here.
