Tin House Court
De Groene Gids
De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
The "courtyard of the tinsmith's house" is a peaceful, cobbled square, graced by a fountain. A sculpture adorns the square's northwestern wall, which was once part of the facade of a house belonging to a tinsmith called Honoré Foisy. When Foisy's house was demolished in 1973, Art Price restored the façade's sculpture as a tribute to Foisy's mastery of his craft. The courtyard is a favorite haunt of Ottawans, who come here to read or grab a snack.
