This picturesque market and its colorful flower, fruit and vegetable stalls, which overflow into the neighbouring streets in summertime, has existed since 1820. Byward Market Building is home to restaurants and craft shops. On the way to Clarence Street, look out for the bronze sculpture of a dancing bear by Nunavut artist Pauta Saila in Joan of Arc Courtyard.
