Queen Kunigunde of Bohemia founded this convent of nuns attached to the Cistercian Order in 1234. Built in the late 17C and early 18C, the current building suffered greatly during the 2010 floods. The Bohemian influence can be seen clearly in the portico on the west façade. Unlike most Cistercian houses, the convent church has a tower. The interior was decorated in Romanesque Revival style by members of the Nazarene School.
