The underground Roman Museum of Nyon is marked at ground level by a statue of Julius Caesar and rests on the foundations of the former basilica of the Forum. The museum provides an insight into the city in its ancient and present contexts and showcases a model of the forum, as well as objects found in digs, including a fine collection of amphorae.
