Noosa County is a mix of town and nature sited at the mouth of the Noosa River and at the far end of the Great Sandy National Park. At Noosa Heads, take a walk down Hastings Street, where upmarket café terraces and boutiques jostle for space on the seafront. But Noosa manages to offset this beachside hipster cocktail by the presence of Noosa National Park and its range of outdoor sporting activities: hiking, cycling, kayaking, stand-up paddling, surfing, kitesurfing, diving... And, of course, napping on the beaches.
