This shaded promenade starts at the Plage des Dames, running from the beach along the oceanfront through wooded creeks. After the lighthouse - Phare de la Pointe-des-Dames - the pine trees mix with oaks. The cliffs tower over the sea and its reefs, and there are lovely views of the so-called Jade Coast and Pornic. Before you arrive at Les Souzeaux beach, you pass the serene Tour Plantier, a tower overlooking Anse Rouge (Red Cove).
