The Hüdavent Hatun Türbesi, a mausoleum built in 1312, houses the remains of the daughter of Sultan Rukeddîn Kiliç Arslan. This elegant and delicate mausoleum is a fine example of Seljuk art. Crowned with a dome and built in stone, its octagonal silhouette brings to mind a nomadic tent. The doorway is highly decorated and the bas-relief frieze which runs along the walls uses typical Seljuk motifs, such as flowers and geometrical designs.
