Built in 1886, the Long Son pagoda is the largest in the city and is well worth a visit for its attractive architecture, finely sculpted roof, superb ceramic mosaics and restored frescoes retracing the life of the Buddha. Headquarters of the Buddhist association of the province of Khanh Hoa, the pagoda and adjoining monastery are full of life, where you might come across monks or novices gardening in the courtyard or even playing a game of football.
