With its lush vegetation and exhibitions starring exotic animals from around the world (including some as rare as the white alligator and Komodo dragon), Audubon Zoo will be a hit with youngsters. The intense activity contained within Louisiana's swamps is of course well illustrated, but so is the wildlife of other continents, thanks to themed sections (reptiles, for example). There are numerous attractions for children.
