This tranquil park located opposite the city's universities was formerly a 494-acre sugar cane plantation. Nowadays, Audubon Park is a popular urban oasis with a wide footpath for walkers, an excellent golf course and several play areas for children. Exposition Boulevard, a pleasant footpath on the downtown side of the park, runs alongside a row of elegant residences.
