This church, built in the early 15C then remodelled in the 18C, is named after an Ancient allegorical statue symbolising the Nile. Dating from the 1C BCE, today it stands on a small square: Largo Corpo di Napoli. It holds the superb marble tomb of Cardinal Rinaldo Brancaccio (1427) by Donatello and Michelozzo, as well as a fine painting by the Tuscan Mannerist, Marco Pino, depicting San Michele Arcangelo (1573).
