The former Fine Arts Museum reopened in 2017, with a new identity and modern extension (Le Cube). The new wing now showcases over a thousand works from one of the richest collections of France, mainly devoted to European art from the 13C to 21C. Of note are works by Ingres, Courbet, Delacroix, Dufy, Signac and Monet, as well as Georges de La Tour, side by side a rare series of paintings by Kandinsky, Nouveaux réalistes and recent photo acquisitions are also on show.
